MOPPETS

We encourage all moms attending MOPS to allow dads, grandparents, neighbors, friends, babysitters, etc. to care your children while attending the MOPS meetings. For those of you who are unable to make other arrangements for your children, childcare is available at MOPS meetings. You MUST pre-register for childcare before bring your child to the nursery. Call coordinator Lindsey at 332-0467 to reserve your spot. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis!

MOPS child care is for children birth through kindergarten. While you attend the MOPS meetings your children will be lovingly cared for by our nursery workers, allowing you time to refresh , recharge, and connect with other moms. Registration is required, and you may begin dropping your children off beginning at 6:15 P.M. (no earlier please).

POLICIES and INFORMATION:

1. Registration Forms: When you signed up for MOPS you should have filled out a registration form for each child for yours who needs care in the nursery any time during the coming year, including your unborn child if you are pregnant.

2. Ages: we accept children from birth through kindergarten. We are not equipped at this time to care for school-aged children.

3. MOPS Moms Only: childcare is provided exclusively for mothers who are attending MOPS. Children should generally be dropped off and picked up by their own mom. In consideration of our volunteers, please pick up your child immediately after the close of each meeting. If someone else needs to pick up your child, you must make arrangements for that person to have the security bracelet in order to get your child.

4. Labels: Please label diaper bags and loose items you leave (pacifiers, bottles, etc.) with your child's name. It's helpful if pacifiers are attached to your child.

5. Sign-In: When you arrive please sign in your child at the door of his/her assigned room and pick up your security bracelet. Make note of allergies, feeding time, or special helps in case of fussiness. Bottles brought by parents will be given according to the mother's instructions.

6. Diapers: Bring plenty of disposable diapers. No cloth diapers, please! A change of clothes is helpful, too.

7. Potty-Trained: Please have potty-trained children use the restroom before dropping them off. It is helpful to pack a change of clothes in case of any accidents.

8. Snacks: your child may be will served graham crackers/goldfish crackers and water during snack time. Contact the coordinator to arrange for an alternate snack if your child is allergic to graham crackers or goldfish.
